Go all the way with BERG-GESUND’s mountain leisure programme!
he BERG-GESUND association offers a year-round mountain leisure programme for holidaymakers in the Valley of Alpine Meadows. Guests at the GROSSARLER HOF can participate in a range of activities free of charge, with the outdoor adventures led by approved hiking and mountain guides.
With the hiking village of Grossarl and the mountaineering village of Hüttschlag, the Grossarl Valley is a true hidden gem for nature lovers and ski tourers. There is also a lot on offer for snowshoers and cross-country skiers. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life in the glorious snowy landscape, and enjoy the silence of nature.
Guided snowshoeing and ski tours are on offer five days a week in winter. Alongside the guided tours, you receive a professional lesson in avoiding Alpine dangers that includes a small – but important – avalanche awareness module. All tours are available in various levels of difficulty and are adapted to suit the individual abilities of participants. Particularly enthusiastic climbers can try their hand at ice-climbing or undertake a valuable fitness check as part of the ‘Mountain Fit’ programme.
All activities will go ahead as long as there is at least one participant, but participants must register at least one day in advance. All mountain leisure activities are free of charge for guests at the GROSSARLER HOF, and the necessary equipment (snowshoes, ski touring equipment, ferrata sets, etc.) can be booked when you register for a small hire charge. Host and ski tour expert Markus Andexer is also on hand to answer any questions.
