Downhill bikers will be pleased to know that Großarl has its own singletrack trail accessible via the Panoramabahn cable car. The trail can be ridden either from the top of the cable car or from the mid-way station and features terrain such as open meadows, roots and rocks as it takes riders past the local reservoir and a rushing waterfall on the way back to the GROSSARLER HOF.

Unterwandalm - Karseggalm

Leaving from the GROSSARLER HOF, turn right and ride towards the car park at the bottom of the cable car. Cross the car park and turn left before you reach the bridge onto the cycle path. Follow this path until you reach the Genussladen Großarler Genuss. a shop selling local produce. There, turn right onto the Sonneggweg, past the Hoamalm hut to the Sonneggbrücke car park. You then complete a section along a gravel road through the forest until you reach a fork in the trail. Take the trail towards "Unterwandalm" and stop off at this charming hut for a snack and a drink before completing an 800-metre section to another hut, the Karseggalm. This is the oldest hut in the valley and still has its original fireplace and clay floor. Try some of the local food and enjoy the scenery before heading back the way you came to the GROSSARLER HOF.
