Here at the GROSSARLER HOF we take pleasure in sharing what we have created with our guests, from the hotel itself with its traditional and modern elements to our award-winning restaurant and, last but certainly not least, our Erlenreich Relax Spa. And yet, despite all these features and the fabulous mountain panorama, we are convinced that there is one ingredient more important than any other: our genuinely warm welcome. It is this personal touch, this attention to detail, that brings the hotel to life and creates an atmosphere where guests feel at home the moment they arrive. Meet your hosts

The GROSSARLER HOF is run by Teresa Pagitz and her dedicated team. Feel free to speak to any staff member if you have any questions or queries during your stay, for example about things to do in the region or maybe a private event you would like to arrange in our wine cellar. Up in the mountains you will find the Mooslehenalm hut, a traditional alpine refuge where you can sample some of the local food and even stay the night.

The history of the GROSSARLER HOF

The GROSSARLER HOF may be relatively young in years, but over the past decade it has grown rich in history. This fusion of traditional and modern elements was conceived by Peter and Christiane Draxler when  they opened the hotel in 2009 and has been continued by daughter Teresa until today.

22.12.2009: Opening of the GROSSARLER HOF
Autumn 2010: First edition of the now traditional Grossarler Jägerball
2011: Classification as a four-star superior hotel
2011: Mooslehenalm hut is renovated and reopened
2014: Hotel becomes a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World
2015 & 2016: Spa area and sun terrace are expanded
