If mountain biking in SalzburgerLand isn’t your thing e-bikes are a great option for inexperienced cyclists to explore the region around our 4-star superior hotel in Grossarl. However, even athletic cyclists appreciate the support they provide when out and about in Alpine terrain. Given their 100-kilometre range, e-bikes allow you to go on extended tours in the mountains. If you would like to give e-bikes a go, there are two companies in Grossarl that offer e-bike and equipment hire. You can also take part in guided e-bike rides – available six days a week!

Singletrack in Grossarl
Adrenalin-packed 3.3km downhill ride
With 120km of signposted cycling and mountain bike trails, the Grossarl Valley is a cyclist’s paradise. An attraction in itself is the new singletrack bike trail in Grossarl which opened in July 2017.
The Grossarl Valley’s

Take it easy going up in the 8-seater Hochbrand cable car. From the upper terminus, the singletrack takes you 3.3 superb kilometres past the midway station reservoir and through woods and Alpine meadows to the Hochbrand cable car’s lower terminus. The flow trail appeals to both tourers and Enduro racers and can even be undertaken by complete novices to downhill biking.
