Salzburg's gourmet culture & traditions

Salzburg's gourmet culture is part of our tradition and truly knows no bounds! Our chef Walter Viehhauser has taken to heart the Austrian government's 'Genussregion' initiative to promote regional food specialities. He and his team create culinary delights for our elegant Alpine-style restaurant and in the excellent Jagastub’n à la carte restaurant.

His compositions are accompanied by an extensive wine list of Austrian wines as well as wines from around the world. During our weekly wine tastings you can expect to sample first class wines from established growers as well as up-and-coming young winemakers.
